The Darwin CBD Urban Planning Forum is a joint initiative of the Northern Territory Government including the Department of Planning and Infrastructure and Darwin City Council. For more information follow the links.

The Northern Territory Government and Darwin City Council have been working together to ensure Darwin’s ongoing environmental, economic and social sustainability since 2003 through the Capital City Committee. A focus has been the creation of a vibrant and active CBD.

Significant work has been undertaken to understand the issues facing the CBD and to identify future directions. The next step is the development and implementation of an action plan for the future of Darwin’s CBD.

The forum continues the partnership approach between the NT Government and Darwin City Council and underlines their joint commitment to achieve tangible outcomes for the future of the Darwin CBD.
